Precision Energy Assessments
I deploy calibrated kW, PSI, and flow data loggers across your entire supply side to establish a true baseline of system performance. Every compressor, dryer, and control is mapped against actual consumption.
When this helps
Electricity use you cannot explain, unstable pressure, machines running through low production, or an equipment purchase that needs a measured basis.
What you receive
A measured baseline of power, pressure and flow, specific power stated with its conditions, and a prioritized action list with estimated savings and the assumptions behind them.
What the service covers
Supply-side analysis
I log true electrical power using instrumentation that measures voltage, current, and power factor. The agreed measurement boundary identifies which compressors and auxiliary loads are included.
Demand profiling
I compare pressure and flow with the production schedule to identify pressure shortfalls, excess pressure, and off-shift demand. These trends guide investigation; locating individual leaks requires an ultrasonic or acoustic imaging survey.
Specific power benchmarking
I report specific power (kW per 100 CFM) and its reciprocal (CFM per kW), with the flow reference conditions, system boundary, pressure, and operating range stated so comparisons are meaningful.
Leakage quantification
Off-shift flow helps estimate the combined nonproduction demand. A separately scoped ultrasonic or acoustic imaging survey locates accessible leaks and estimates their individual flow; intentional uses are distinguished from leakage.
What the report contains
An assessment is useful when electricity use is unexplained, pressure is unstable, machines run during low production, or a planned equipment purchase needs a measured basis.
- A system inventory and baseline identifying the measured boundary, operating conditions, and logging period.
- Power, pressure, and flow trends with a comparison of production and off-shift behavior.
- A prioritized action list with estimated energy savings, implementation assumptions, and payback where costs are available.
- A findings review with your team, including measurement limitations and a proposed verification plan.
The proposal sets the fee, access requirements, instrumentation, and schedule. Logging must cover a representative operating cycle; repair work, long-term monitoring, and post-change verification are scoped explicitly.
Read a worked example for the evidence and comparisons a report would use. It is an explanatory example, not a client report.
What happens after you ask
You send a short request.
Your name, work email, company, and a few lines about the system and the problem. Nothing else is needed to start.
I reply directly.
Expect a direct reply from Peak kW within one business day.
We agree the scope in writing.
We go through your equipment, shifts, pressure needs and electricity bills. You receive a proposal that sets the measurement boundary, deliverables, fee, site access and schedule before any work begins.
I measure your system.
My loggers record power, pressure and flow across a representative operating cycle agreed in the scope.
You receive the findings and we review them together.
A prioritized action list with estimated savings, the assumptions behind every figure, and a proposed way to verify the results.
Before the first call
Have your compressor and dryer nameplate list and production schedule on hand so we can agree the measurement boundary and logger placement before deploying instrumentation.
